  • About You

    As a Senior Designer with a flair for social media, you’ll be keen to take on the core of responsibility for creative output within the agency. You will be expected to inspire other members of the team and become one of the creative focal points of the business. You will need to be comfortable working with senior members of the team and being involved in pitching, strategy and creative feedback stages. It’s a position with huge scope for the right person and a chance to become a real core member of an exceptionally talented team.

    You’ll need a brilliant social media and creative mind and have energy and passion for creating innovative and eye-catching social media content. You should be highly motivated and self-driven to help us continue to drive and develop our creative practices. You’ll be up to date on all current social trends and have excellent industry awareness. A clear and confident delegator, you are an excellent team player and are invested in the development and nurturing of your junior colleagues. You must have at least 5+ years relevant experience, be hugely dedicated and always maintain the highest standards.

    Your Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Creative Delivery

    • Manage numerous briefs and liaise with the client teams on a regular basis

    • Be the creative lead on multiple accounts and projects and maintain the quality of work completed by the team

    • Ensure all feedback is answered and responsible for making sure that all client deliverables are ready to share

    • Finding solutions to client feedback

    • Keep up to date with the latest artwork and repro techniques and software

    • Represent the agency at key industry events as and when necessary

    • Assist with pitches for new campaigns

    • Ensure that the campaigns are of the highest level of profitability vs time, resource and output

    • Beginning to outline and strategise scope of work for all clients

    People:

    • Foster strong working relationships with all internal departments and cross-functional teams

    • Actively evolve knowledge of colleague’s roles and the skills and tools they use in their jobs, drawing upon expertise as necessary

    Skills & Experience:

    • The Social Designer is expected to have the following skills and knowledge:

    • Proven track record working within a digital role in a marketing or social media agency alongside strategic and client facing teams

    • Strong visual and digital design leader in the team

    • Able to design all forms of creative output

    • Extensive working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects

    • Social first video editing responsibilities, shooting and editing (shooting on phone and camera)

    • Strategical idea generation across campaigns and content

    • Staying up to date with latest trends and insights for all major social platforms

    • Ability to multi-task and stay organised to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects

    • Able to clearly articulate complex design principles and conceptual digital ideas

    • Highly motivated and a passionate people leader

    • Wider understanding and passion for the film and digital industries

  • About You

    As Senior Account Director, you are an ambitious and proactive member of the Corporate & Special Projects (C&SP) team, leading the Middle East business. You’ll work alongside the senior management teams across clients with a focus on client development, growth, retention, and profitability for a portfolio of accounts. You’ll build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor to help them to achieve the best possible outcomes, through your own work and the work of the team that you support. You must be fully immersed in strategy with experience in working in the Entertainment and PR industry.

    Your Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Trade Press – news, profiles & features

    • Creative Business Press – news, profiles & features

    • Executive profiling

    • Company profiling

    • Strategic communications counsel

    • Speaker platforms

    • Market & festival strategy & implementation

    Accounts & Campaigns:

    • To be an active leader alongside the senior management team, across all corporate clients

    • Devise and implement Corporate representation campaigns as required for DDA’s roster of C&SP clients

    • General maintenance and development of the Middle East client base

    • Contribute to strategy and new business discussions, participating in brainstorming sessions

    • Be a leader on core team processes, as part of wider client management across the team

    • Ensure client deliverables such as coverage reports are delivered in a timely and professional manner

    • Senior level client liaison and management

    • Ensure the provision of first-class service levels to all DDA clients

    • Forge and maintain trusted business-focused relationships within the client portfolio

    • Be highly visible and available for strategic counsel to all senior C&SP clients

    • Work with the C&SP team to develop proposals and presentations for potential new clients

    • Produce strategies with a strong understanding of the industry landscape

    • Attend client/pitch meetings, draft and service press releases and keep status documents and reports up-to-date

    Leadership & Staff Motivation:

    • A leader in communicating the DDA Agency proposition and core values

    • Staff development and mentoring for junior team members if/as required

    • Being a contributor to thought leadership to help build DDA’s profile within the industry

    • Build relationships and form networks internally and with external specialists and communities

    • To keep abreast of emerging trends, innovations, current best practice and to fully understand the competitive agency market to ensure DDA is best positioned

    • To build a positive work environment and culture within DDA

    • To motivate employees through feedback and training and a positive culture that celebrates success

    Company Integration:

    • Build strong cross-department relationships

    • Build positive working relationships with Business Unit Heads

    Press Relationships:

    • Create and maintain strong contacts across trade and media business outlets

    • Confidently pulls on established journalist connections / relationships to help secure coverage

    New Business & Industry Relationships:

    • Display a proactive attitude to new business

    • Manage and maintain your client contacts

    • Contribute to strategy and new business discussions, participating in brainstorming sessions

    • Continue building personal client relationships

    • Demonstrate good understanding of client’s cost/budgetary needs/restrictions

    • Maintain industry relationships with key clients through regular contacts

    Skills & Experience:

    • Demonstrate experience within a similar entertainment agency, freelance, or in-house role within the entertainment industry

    • Proven track record running film corporate clients and leading campaigns independently

    • In-house experience heading up communications – work with film festivals, commissions or trade bodies preferred

    • Strong relationships with entertainment trade media

    • Willingness to travel to key festivals for on the ground activity is required

    • Experience with Middle East film industry is preferred

    • Resourcefulness demonstrated in ability to problem-solve and show initiative

    • Proactive, collaborative, and keen to be part of a multi-disciplinary team

    • Professional and personable demeanor

    • Ability to multi-task and stay organized to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects

    • A team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently

    • Strong accuracy and attention to detail

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Must be happy to work additional hours as required and be available to travel internationally as needed. This will on occasion involve working evenings and weekends.
